I just dotted the last “i” and crossed the final “t” on my review of Super 8, which I will be posting tonight around midnight PST. But for now, while sneak peek screenings of the film are taking place in select cities across the country today, I have for you a look at a short video from inside the film.
As many of you have seen the trailer for Super 8, it involves an Air Force cargo train crashing in a small Ohio town and what was aboard that train escapes. The question, therefore is, what was on that train?
Well, the following video, which is seen inside the film — and late in the film I should say for those of you trying to avoid any and all spoilers — gives you a tiny glimpse at just what exactly is banging on that train car door.
Now personally I don’t think this film can necessarily be spoiled unless someone tells you the plot from scene one to the very end. It isn’t that kind of a film, and the creature’s reveal isn’t by any means spectacular. So, by watching this video you aren’t ruining anything as much as you are simply getting a jump start on things. So give it a watch, or don’t, Super 8 opens wide tomorrow.
