Updated: Trailer, Poster and New Pics for the ‘Fright Night’ Remake Debuts

Fright Night is a movie I am particularly interested in seeing. For starters, because I’ve heard the original is quite good, but primarily I’m interested in this continually growing list of films Colin Farrell has been signing up to play as he is dabbling in damn near every genre available from horror, to comedy with Horrible Bosses, to sci-fi with Total Recall and the list goes on.

With Fright Night, it centers around a teen (Anton Yelchin) who finds out his neighbor (Colin Farrell) is a vampire. I’m not sure where the story goes from there, but I imagine it follows some traditional path of vampire destruction. However it plays out, I’m interested. The director, Craig Gillespie (Lars and the Real Girl), has already signed on to direct Pride and Prejudice and Zombies as his follow-up to this film.

The film hits theaters on August 19, so have a look at this first trailer and see if it will fit into your schedule that month. I’ve included a large look at the new poster below that and you can browse the full Fright Night picture gallery here.
