Paul Feig’s, Judd Apatow-produced Bridesmaids received a lot of buzz out of SXSW giving it some good critical quotes to use in the marketing leading up toward its May 13 release. However, the trailers have yet to convince people around these parts. Does this new international one do anything to improve expectations?
Secondly, Jim Carrey dances with penguins again in this new international trailer for Mr. Popper’s Penguins, a film in which Carrey plays Mr. Popper, a high-powered, New York business man who suddenly inherits six penguins. Taking care of the animals is no easy matter, and he quickly hits major hurtles, both at home and at work. But along the way, he learns the value of family and friendship–human and otherwise.
