Thanks to Trailer Addict the opening scene from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, which was featured on the Blu-ray for Part 1 but left off of my review copy, is now online.
The short sequence features a chat between Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and Olivander (John Hurt) in which Harry informs Olivander that Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) has found the Elder wand to which Olivander replies, “If it’s true — what you say — and he has the Elder Wand, I’m afraid you really don’t stand a chance.” The clip is then followed by a short teaser for the final film.
I have to say, as much as I was disappointed by Part 1, primarily due to the fact it is only half of a film and not necessarily because of what is seen on screen, I can’t wait to see Part 2 when it comes to theaters on July 15. Watching the first film again on Blu-ray recently I appreciated it a bit more, and I have a strong suspicion that once I see Part 2, the two parts together will be phenomenal, but I am trying not to get my hopes up too high.
