The big online boast about the following clip from Thor is because it features a brief glimpse at Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, the character he’ll be playing in The Avengers. Of course, once you hit play I’m not sure you’ll be too impressed considering it’s more of a mud wrestling match between Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and some no name big bad bully. Speaking of which, I thought Thor was supposed to be this powerful god-like character. Does he actually have to hold the hammer to have that power or does Earth’s atmosphere mess him up or something? What gives?
