Dimension just sent over six new pictures from Scream 4 and as you can see from the pic above things are going to get a little bloody. You can check out the other five new photos right here and I have added the new TV spot directly below.
Personally I loved the first Scream film, but never thought the sequels were all that great. The original was good for not only it’s ability to keep you guessing as to who the killers were, but also the series of horror rules Jamie Kennedy added to the mix. It was a solid horror parody that had just as much thrills as it did comedic moments. The sequels all tried to ramp up both of these aspects and as a result just got sillier and stupider.
Scream 4 is set to hit theaters on April 15 and brings back its original cast as Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and Gale (Courteney Cox), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.
