Box-Office Oracle: Feb. 18 – Feb. 20, 2011

It’s going to be another bumpy ride at the top, I’ve got the top six films within $12m of each other. Also, please note, these are Fri-Sun predictions, the holiday on Monday isn’t included. Let’s break it down!
Laremy predicted the #1 movie correctly 6 Weeks In A Row
For me, a film that never completely came together, certainly not as well paced as Taken. It’s also only fourth in total theaters, I’m surprised Warner Bros. didn’t call in more favors to try and take first.
Prediction: $19.93 million
The trend of the franchise is heading downward, the first made $173m worldwide while the sequel only managed $138m. Add in Tyler Perry’s Madea saturation and you have a recipe for around $6,500 per theater.
Prediction: $18.36 million
Sandler’s film is fortunate to not face much in the way of date night competition, and a 45.3 percent dip feels about right.
Prediction: $16.69 million
I haven’t seen a budget yet, but you’ve got to wonder if years of development costs will come back to haunt them.
Prediction: $15.83 million
This little tiger was made for $13m. Paramount is holding gold doubloon pool parties as we speak.
Prediction: $14.23 million
$202m worldwide on a $15m budget and The Weinstein Company is playing with power.
Prediction: $5.67 million
It likely just didn’t get enough of a marketing push to resonate.
Prediction: $4.68 million
The $16m production budget makes this a solid gamble. Sony will figure a way to eek out some profits on the residuals and home video profits.
Prediction: $3.46 million
After Portman takes home that Oscar, does her price double, making $25m budgets like this a thing of the past?
Prediction: $3.15 million

How say you? Bold enough to take Unknown or Big Momma 3 at the top? Comment early, comment often, Brad will be back on Sunday to wrap this weekend up.
