Universal has just revealed the poster, trailer and also sent over a few new pics from the upcoming Judd Apatow produced comedy Bridesmaids (also known as The Hangover with Girls) starring Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Wendi Mclendon-Covey, Ellie Kemper, Melissa McCarthy, Chris O’Dowd, Matt Lucas, Jill Clayburgh, Rebel Wilson, Michael Hitchcock and Jon Hamm.
The synopsis does very little to lead me to believe this could be anything outstanding, instead it sounds, and looks (Seriously? A tennis ball to the boob?), entirely generic. Here’s the studio supplied synopsis for your perusal:
Annie’s (Kristen Wiig) life is a mess. But when she finds out her lifetime best friend (Maya Rudolph) is engaged, she simply must serve as Lillian’s maid of honor. Though lovelorn and broke, Annie bluffs her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals. With one chance to get it perfect, she’ll show Lillian and her bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper) just how far you’ll go for someone you love.
