I guess the biggest thing to happen since the beginning of time is that Spider-Man in the new Untitled Spider-Man Reboot will have machanical web shooters as opposed to the organic web shooters Tobey Maguire was sporting in the Sam Raimi version. And now, with the fresh, from the set photo of Spidey running (via MTV) we also get a zoomed-in look at said shooters.
The question now is just how much trouble will those mechanical web shooters get him in. They are likely to fail the first time he tries them right? Then they’ll probably get smashed in the final battle… or at least one of them will. What else could go wrong?
The mask obviously is designed to have a little CG work done to it in post and I’m sure some color correction will also be done to the final product to make the suit look a little more like the one we saw in that first image.
The Spider-Man reboot is set to hit theaters on July 3, 2012.
