The Academy has been listing off presenters for this coming Sunday’s Oscar presentation since February 22 when they alerted the world they didn’t mind going for an all-out ratings grab by awarding presenter spots to the likes of Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart, four people that have never been nominated for an Oscar. At least to Stewart’s credit she’s been involved in an Oscar-nominated film (Into the Wild), as for the other three I guess I can’t fault the Academy for wanting to boost the ratings.
It was also just announced Jess Cagle, Kathy Ireland and Sherri Shepherd will serve as hosts for the 82nd Academy Awards pre-show “Oscars Red Carpet… 2010” on ABC leading up to the festivities.
The complete list of presenters continues to grow and as of right now the following names make up that list. And I will be updating this post as more are announced.
