American Idol runner-up Katherine McPhee will co-star with the great Anna Faris in an untitled comedy written by Legally Blonde scribes Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith. The story “centers on a Playboy bunny (Faris) who gets kicked out of the Playboy Mansion and becomes the house mother to the lamest sorority on campus.”
The article goes on to state McPhee – who I’ve never before seen in my life until reading this Hollywood Reporter article – is going to play “a pregnant hippy” … okaaaaaay. Emma Stone (the upcoming Superbad) will also star as the nerdy sorority’s president. Stone is pretty much a knockout so I’m going to go ahead and guess they’re planning on throwing some glasses on her (ah, yes, glasses. Hollywood’s cure for making the beautiful completely hideous. You hear that, kids? Hollywood thinks if you wear glasses, you’ve fallen through the ugly tree!).
The only reason this movie will be on my radar is Faris who I have a massive crush on because of her willingness to do anything for a laugh.
