Amy Adams has ‘Doubt’ in Streep Film

Amy Adams is cute, don’t you all agree? On top of that she has a good sense of humor, even though I didn’t like Talladega Nights I still thought she was pretty solid in it. Well, she may find herself in some rather esteemed company should this next role work out as she is aiming to star opposite Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman in Doubt for Miramaix films and director John Patrick Shanley.

Shanley adapted the film from his own Pulitzer Prize-winning play and it will find Adams playing the pivotal role of a young nun in the middle of a tense confrontation in which a Bronx Catholic school principal (Streep) accuses a priest (Hoffman) of pedophilia.

Production is tentatively set to begin in December.
