Just today I published the first ever official RopeofSilicon Top Ten list and it was titled “Worst Movies That Made Over $100 Million“. On that list were two Adam Sandler movies and I am starting to think that if You Don’t Mess with the Zohan makes over $100 million I may have to modify that list as word out of JoBlo.com is that Mariah Carey is going to be joining the cast.
It doesn’t sound like it is going to be a huge role and it also doesn’t sound like she is going to have to work too hard as she will be playing herself.
In the film Sandler stars along with Rob Schneider as a Mossad agent who fakes his death so he can move to New York and become a hairstylist. Apparently, Carey, as herself, will run afoul of Zohan’s former nemesis, The Phantom, launching Zohan and pals back into action.
Production on the film will begin in July in New York, Los Angeles and Israel. Sandler’s I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry helmer, Dennis Dugan, is directing this one as well.
