Myriad Pictures (Jeepers Creepers II) is reteaming with comic book publisher Studio 407 to bring the horror series “The Night Projectionist” to the big screen, reports Variety.
“Projectionist” marks the second title produced under Studio 407’s first-look deal with Myriad — the first being the comic book “Hybrid,” which is tentatively scheduled to begin production later this year.
The story takes place on Halloween Eve in a small-town movie theater, where an all-night Draculathon draws throngs of moviegoers who suddenly find themselves locked inside the theater, which is slowly filling with vampires.
The first issue of “The Night Projectionist” miniseries will hit stores in February.
