Wow, I didn’t know James Earl Jones was still in the game, but apparently he, along with Cedric the Entertainer and Joy Bryant have joined Martin Lawrence in The Better Man for Universal Pictures.
The comedy will find Bryant has the female lead as Lawrence’s high-maintenance galpal, a former “Survivor” contestant who accompanies the talk show star to visit his family in a Southern home town. Jones plays his dad and Cedric the Entertainer landed the role as Lawrence’s childhood rival.
Production just began on the comedy, which also stars Louis C.K.
