I am sorry, but all this attention being paid to Anna Nicole Smith since she has died has me a bit peeved. Anna Nicole should NOT be compared to Princess Diana or Marilyn Monroe and the morons that make up America’s news media should be ashamed at even uttering the words, it is embarrassing. On top of that, all the crap recently paid to who is the father of her baby is equally embarrassing. A CNN news reporter was talking to a Bahaman official today and was wondering why the people of the Bahamas didn’t seem to care about the goings-on. The man was much nicer than he should have been, he should have just said, “Because Americans are fools for idolizing a mentally challenged blonde.” Yeah, she’s dead, but that doesn’t make her any smarter!
Anyway, as for this bit of news, Variety is reporting that dancer/singer/non-actor Willa Ford has signed on to star in a biopic about Anna Nicole with shooting expected to begin next week for director Keoni Waxman. The movie will cover Smith’s life from age 17 until her death in February at 39, including her success as a Playboy centerfold, Guess model and actress, her marriage to billionaire oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II, the death of her son and her own death five months after giving birth to a baby girl, Dannielynn. The dispute that erupted over who was the baby’s father was settled Tuesday when a judge in the Bahamas ruled, based on DNA tests, in favor of California photographer and former Smith boyfriend Larry Birkhead.
If this movie doesn’t go straight to Lifetime or the Oprah channel I will be shocked. I don’t mind if 40-year-old women check it out at home, but if they put this out there for everyone to see it will continue the embarrassment of American society across the world.
