Scarlett Joins Her Third Woody Allen Flick

Woody Allen must have a little thing for Scarlett Johansson, and who can really blame him, she isn’t bad on the eyes. Allen has set Johansson to star in the third film with the director that just won’t go away as he readies his shoot this summer in Spain.

Johansson previously starred in Allen’s Match Point and Scoop and seems to be falling in line where the likes of Mia Farrow and Diane Keaton used to roam as Allen’s favs.

Scarlett joins Penelope Cruz, Rebecca Hall and Javier Bardem in the untitled film, which will shoot for six weeks in Barcelona and one week in Asturias. Allen will trek to Spain in June for pre-production and then will return to begin production after the July 4 holiday.

What’s it about? Who knows, the mystery is part of the mystique I guess with Woody. Personally I have only seen one Woody Allen film, Anything Else, yeah a pile of crap, but I am going to be making it a point soon to check out his classics such as Annie Hall, Manhattan, Hannah and Her Sisters and Bullets Over Broadway. Actually, I am a little frustrated I haven’t done so yet.

Allen’s next pic to hit the big screen will be Cassandra’s Dream starring Ewan McGregor and Colin Farrell.
