Jane Alexander, Alexa Davalos, Toby Hemingway, Selma Blair, Stana Katic, Billy Burke, Fred Ward and Erika Marozsan have joined the cast of Robert Benton’s ensemble drama The Feast of Love a film based on the Charles Baxter novel about a sensual free spirit (Davalos) who comes into the lives of a group of friends in suburban Oregon and changes them in unexpected ways. – The Hollywood Reporter
Tammy Blanchard is in negotiations to star opposite Brittany Murphy in the romantic comedy drama The Ramen Girl a film in which Murphy stars as an American stranded in Tokyo after a breakup who tries to survive by training as a ramen noodle chef. Blanchard would play Gretchen, a drug-addicted American escort for Japanese businessmen who befriends Murphy’s character. – The Hollywood Reporter
Christa Campbell has been added to the cast of the remake of Day of the Dead, which is lensing in Bulgaria. – Variety
Marisol Nichols has joined the cast of Lionsgate’s Delta Farce a film in which three inept, Iraq-bound Army reservists are mistakenly dropped into Mexico and liberate a small village from marauders. – Variety
Sissy Spacek is joining Hot Rod a film that stars “Saturday Night Live’s” Andy Samberg as a daredevil who plans to jump Snake River on a moped in a bid to please his stepfather. – Variety
Amy Ferguson is joining American Crime a film about a a Midwestern housewife who kills a teenage girl. The film stars Catherine Keener. – Variety
