Warner Bros. is ready to dive into yet another one of DC Comics’ tales as “Doom Patrol” will get a feature adaptation.
The story about a band of superheroes with freakish powers will be adapted by Adam Turner and its comparative nature to Marvel’s “X-Men” is sure to create a buzz going into Comic-Con weekend.
The Doom Patrol, like “X-Men”, is a band of super-powered social misfits ostracized by the rest of the world led by a wheelchair-boundmentor. Characters include Elasti-Girl, Negative Man and Robotman.
