Well guess what, for those lucky folks living in NYC there is an opportunity to do just that as word has just come in that the New York premiere of M. Night’s Lady in the Water is taking place July 17th in New York City and all you need to do is head on over to the American Museum of Natural History 79 Central Park West (at 79th Street) and hit the red carpet, and cheer on your favorite stars.
Who is going to be there? Well check this list out: director M. Night Shyamalan, Paul Giamatti, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bob Balaban, Freddy Rodriguez, Jeffrey Wright, Bill Irwin, Cindy Cheung and Sarita Choudhury. Other celebrity guests include Wilmer Valderamma, Oksana Baiul (what?!?!?) and many more. Hey there might even be a chance to get into the event.
The film follows a modest apartment manager (Paul Giamatti) who finds his life changed when he discovers a beautiful nymph from an epic bedtime story (Bryce Dallas Howard) hiding beneath his swimming pool—stalked by deadly creatures bent on destroying her mission and keeping her trapped between her world and ours. Her mysterious plight inspires him and his fellow tenants to rise above their own fears and use the special powers she brings out in each of them to help her fulfill her destiny and brave the perilous journey home.
