The Die Hard films are undoubetdly some of my favorite action films of all time and it seems the fourth film in the franchise is continuing to move forward as The Hollywood Reporter tells us that Underworld helmer Len Wiseman is in talks to direct Die Hard 4.
The fourth installment of the franchise finds hero John McClane coming out of retirement to battle an Internet terrorist organization. Bruce Willis will reprise his role as the fearless cop. The title of the pic was Die Hard 4.0, but apparently the “.0” has been dropped from the title.
Mark Bomback and Doug Richardson penned the screenplay and producer Arnold Rifkin reportedly is looking for a hot, young helmer to inject new life into the franchise and apparently Wiseman fits the bill as he is coming off the relatively successful sequel Underworld: Evolution, which grossed $62.3 million at the box-office domestically and hits DVD and Blu-ray on June 20.
