Michelle Williams was set to star in a Woody Allen pic and then Allen backed out of the film, but it still seems the Oscar-nominee is nabbing big time roles, this time she is set to portray Charlotte Bronte in Angela Workman’s Bronte, a biopic based on the life of Charlotte Bronte, author of classic novel ‘Jane Eyre’.
Workman penned the script and will direct the feature, which is set to begin filming later this year.
Joining Williams in the film are Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Imelda Staunton, Brian Cox and Ben Chaplin.
