I am going to go on record saying that I am tired of Robin Williams, that is unless he is voicing an animated character. Just being honest here, Robin Williams just cannot seem to turn it off. I can only imagine his family wearing ear plugs all day and the kids looking up at mommy with eyes saying, “When will daddy stop?!?!?” Does this guy ever stop and just be a normal person? Does he have to try and make people laugh at all times? Have you ever seen a red carpet event where he just answers the questions straight? Am I disturbed by the fact that I watch red carpet events?
FYI, the answers to those questions are: No, Yes, No, Yes.
Anyway, on with our news.
Variety is reporting that Robin Williams and Mandy Moore are both set to star in License to Wed for Warner Bros. Pictures and director Ken Kwapis.
The romantic comedy revolves around a young couple whose wedding plans are interrupted when the pushy minister (Williams) of the bride’s family church orders the pair to complete a two-week prenup course. They must pass the class if they want to marry in his church. The groom fails the course and loses the girl but fights to win her back. John Krasinski (“The Office”) is in early talks to play Moore’s love interest.
Filming will begin in L.A. and Mexico in May.
