Apparently the endless stream of musicians making the crossover from music to film will not end yet as Kanye West has teamed up with Anonymous Content and New Line Cinema to produce a feature film inspired by his music.
According to The Hollywood Reporter West will appear in the film, which will create a multiperspective portrait of the U.S. as seen through the eyes of West and several filmmakers.
George C. Wolfe, the Broadway figure who directed “Lackawanna Blues,” will oversee the creative process on the film. The untitled Kanye West project will be produced by Richard Brown and Steve Golin.
It was announced earlier that West’s musical talents will be making an appearance in Mission: Impossible III as the rapper is set to interpret the familiar theme for the third installment of the spy franchise.
