It has been a Ghost Rider extravaganza over at SuperheroHype! lately as they not only scored four cool looks at some Ghost Rider artwork, but director Mark Steven Johnson has just revealed that the first trailer for the flick will debut with X-Men: The Last Stand on May 26.
Johnson made the confirmation on the SHH Boards, of which he frequents, saying:
The long wait for a theatrical trailer is almost over. Look for Ghost Rider to be on X-Men 3! May is almost here! You’ll get to see him on the big screen (if only for a minute) instead of on your computer. Also, there are some AMAZING pieces coming from Sideshow Collectibles. I know they’re going to be posting here soon. They’re doing the Ghost Rider, the Old West Ghost Rider, and the Hellcycle. Watch for it.
Ghost Rider is currently slated for a February 16, 2007 release and stars Nicolas Cage, Wes Bentley, Eva Mendes, Matt Long, Sam Elliott, Peter Fonda and Donal Logue.
We all saw the crappy bootleg reel that popped up online a long while back so let’s hope this trailer will clean off the stench that one left and leave the only remaining issue as the release date. Hopefully this one won’t resemble another superhero flick that debuted early in the year.
