Haggis is ‘Against All Enemies’

Paul Haggis has had quite a past year as he not only found two Oscars in his hands eight days ago for his directorial debut Crash, but he was also the scribe on last year’s Oscar-winner Million Dollar Baby. Now, he has found his next directorial project in a feature film adaptation of Richard Clarke’s Against All Enemies.

Haggis is not expected to pen the pic based on Clarke, the former White House counterterrorism adviser in which Clarke asserts the Bush administration did not sufficiently heed his warnings of a growing threat from Al Qaeda in the months leading up to Sept. 11, 2001, instead focusing obsessively on Iraq, even after the 9/11 attacks.

Based on that storyline I am not sure where exactly this film is going to go or how it is going to be interesting, but if Haggis is interested I can only assume there is something compelling there.
