It seems Adam Sandler has an eye for beauty as now former Miss Universe, Jennifer Hawkins, has been offered a role in Adam Sandler’s next flick Click for Columbia Pictures.
The film concerns a workaholic architect who finds a universal remote that allows him to fast-forward and rewind to different parts of his life. Complications arise when the remote starts to overrule his choices.
The Sunday Telegraph brings us this story and the 21-year-old Hawkins told the paper, “I love Adam Sandler, I think he’s hilarious… The fact that he wants me in his new movie is totally unbelievable. I don’t know whether I’m able to free up July and August to shoot it, but if it works out then it would be fantastic.”
Apparently Hawkins is set to work with Aussie’s with Channel Seven as a regular presenter on its travel show, The Great Outdoors and her availability for the role depends on the whether or not the network agrees to reschedule her commitments to the show, if so Hawkins will relocate to Los Angeles in July for two months.
Click has a release date of June 23, 2006 and already stars Sandler, Blake Heron, Allen Covert, Peter Dante, Christopher Walken, Kate Beckinsale and David Hasselhoff and is being directed by Frank Coraci who also directed Sandler in The Wedding Singer.
