The last bit of major casting has been taken care of as Paul Bettany will play the albino fanatic, Silas, in Ron Howard‘s The Da Vinci Code.
The film already stars Tom Hanks, Jean Reno, Audrey Tautou, Alfred Molina and Ian McKellen making this quite the stellar cast as they bring to life Dan Brown’s novel about a murder in the Louvre and clues in Da Vinci paintings which lead to the discovery of a religious mystery protected by a secret society for two thousand years — which could shake the foundations of Christianity.
The Da Vinci Code is set for release on May 19th, and even though not an ounce of footage has been filmed there is already a teaser trailer, check it out here.
