Remember those halcyon days when you’d curl up with a good Nancy Drew mystery in front of the fire? Oh, that was just me? Well for the rest of you it’s your chance to catch up because Production Weekly is reporting that Andy Fleming has signed on to direct the bigscreen feature film adaptation of “Nancy Drew,” based on the series of novels by Carolyn Keene. Holly Brix is currently scripting an updated version of the teenaged detective who dig up the necessary clues to solve all sorts of mysteries.
This could be a huge franchise considering the amount of books Keene put out and the built in adult fans that read them growing up. No date has been set for production.
