I don’t think anyone could have ever predicted that Martin Scorsese and Leo DiCaprio would be come Hollywood’s next bosom buddies but the two seem inseperable since the hit film Gangs of New York. Following up their hit The Aviator the two are working on The Departed and now news comes that along with Aviator scribe John Logan the trio have their eyes set on a remake.
The film being looked at is the 1948 classic Drunken Angel for Warner Bros. DiCaprio will star in the film, which was set in postwar Japan, centered on a young criminal who is being treated for tuberculosis by an alcoholic doctor.
