While we may be getting an unknown as our next Superman it seems Bryan Singer is determined to fill the screen with big names surrounding the Man of Steel as Oscar-winner Eva Marie Saint has been cast as Martha Kent, the adoptive mother of Clark Kent/Superman in Superman Returns.
Marie Saint won an Oscar way back in 1955 for her role in On the Waterfront, she starred in Hitchcock’s North by Northwest and she will also be seen in the upcoming Fox film Because of Winn-Dixie on Feb 18.
So it seems there is life in the old gal yet.
