Just minutes after we put up our 2005 preview for New Line Cinema we get a TON of new pics for 20th Century Fox’s upcoming 2005 slate including previews for 20 of their new films and pictures for most of them including 2 for Star Wars: Episode III!

Probably the most anticipated film of 2005 has got to be Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and now that marketing seems to be moving full steam ahead it is an event every time we receive something new. Along with the teaser trailer and poster a short while ago we now add two more images to our gallery. Only a month or so away now is what looks to be one hell of a movie as Jennifer Garner suits up again for Elektra. Spinning off the Daredevil flop Garner stars as the title character, a warrior who stands in the center in the ultimate battle between good and evil, in the first action event film of the year.

Two weeks after Elektra is released Fox is giving us one of our first frights of 2005 with the Robert De Niro and Dakota Fanning flick Hide and Seek, a terrifying suspense-thriller following a widowed father desperately trying to break through to his nine year old daughter when she creates a creepy, maniacal imaginary friend with a terrifying vendetta … who may or may not be real.

The first family fare on Fox’s slate for 2005 is Because of Winn-Dixie, a film based on the perennial best seller, a lonely young girl adopts an orphaned dog, Winn-Dixie (so named for the supermarket where she found him), who helps her makes friends in a small Florida town. The bond between the girl and her special companion brings together the townspeople, and helps heal her own troubled relationship with her father.

We can’t have a slate without a CGI animated film can we? Well Fox goes for the ani-gold with Robots, a film starring the voice talents of Ewan McGregor, Halle Berry, Greg Kinnear, Mel Brooks, Drew Carey, Jim Broadbent, Amanda Bynes, Jennifer Coolidge, and Robin Williams about a wondrously clanky universe populated solely by mechanical beings.

Unfortunately we don’t have a pic for this Cameron Diaz and Toni Collette starrer but we can tell that In Her Shoes is about two motherless sisters with a history of conflict break off relations when the more carefree and irresponsible one sleeps with her sibling’s boyfriend, but they eventually reconcile with the help of a grandmother they never knew they had. An event movie for every woman who’s ever had or been a mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, or friend.
Comedy is the name of the game in this sports laugher as Martin Lawrence takes to the court with a group of middle school kids in Rebound.
Lawrence plays a high-strung college basketball coach who must redeem himself following a public meltdown, by leading a junior high school team.

Orlando Bloom has Lord of the Rings behind him and tons of young girl crushes in front of him, but as far as movies go he is up for the Ridley Scott epic Kingdom of Heaven next as he finds himself starring alongside the likes of Eva Green, Jeremy Irons, David Thewlis, Brendan Gleeson, Marton Csokas, and Liam Neeson.
Kingdom of Heaven is an epic adventure about a common man who finds himself thrust into a decades-long war. A stranger in a strange land, he serves a doomed king, falls in love with an exotic and forbidden queen, and rises to knighthood. Ultimately, he must protect the people of Jerusalem from overwhelming forces – while striving to keep a fragile peace.
