I never would have thought that a remake of Disney’s Shaggy Dog could get so many names as Robert Downey Jr. is now joining the cast, which already includes Tim Allen, Kristin Davis, Danny Glover and Craig Kilborn.
Granted the names aren’t huge, but I think we all recognize them.
Variety reports that Downey will play a yuppie entrepreneur who is using dogs to experiment with the miracle drug he hopes will give seven years to every human year.
The article also goes on to mention that one reason for him taking the part is because the shoot is already underway in LA and it will give him time to promote his album of original songs, “The Futurist.” The album was just released and we have placed the artwork below, click on it to check it out over at Amazon.com
