Variety is reporting that the Mount Film Co. has picked up Dan O’Dowd’s script Real Men and John Landis has been attached to direct the comedy which concerns an impromptu small-town football game pitting gay against straight that attracts worldwide attention.
Landis’ credits include the popular comedies Animal House, The Blues Brothers and Beverly Hills Cop 3 and most recently directed the documentary Slasher for the IFC Channel.
