The bestselling novel “The Devil Wears Prada” by Lauren Weisberger is getting a feature film treatment as Fox 2000 Pictures has hired David Frankel to adapt the book and helm the film, which they hope to have in front of cameras by spring time next year.
The story concerns a small-town girl who takes a job in New York working for the imperious editor of a fashion magazine.
