Young actress Dakota Fanning is currently being looked at for her own attempt at a franchise starring as Alice in feature adaptations of Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass,” adapted by Les Bohem for DreamWorks.
Apparently Bohem came up with the idea with Fanning specifically in mind when he pitched the idea to Steven Spielberg who worked with the both of them on the Sci-Fi Channel’s Taken.
Bohem will adapt both books, and plans to stick extremely close to Carroll’s original work.
