Sandra Bullock was reportedly attached to the drama Prime also starring Meryl Streep, but now Variety is reporting that the “star” has dropped the flick due to not being entirely satisfied with the script.
Shooting was set to begin September 7th and has already begun costuming, but according to Bullock’s spokeswoman, the actress has final script approval, and felt that the draft written by helmer Ben Younger (Boiler Room) wasn’t good enough. And though Bullock remains willing to work with Younger to address her concerns, Bullock’s spokeswoman also insists there is no way to address them in the two weeks that remain before lensing was to start.
You now have to wonder what Streep’s reaction will be considering “Miss Congeniality” found the script unworthy, what will a two-time Oscar winner think?
