Universal Goes PSYCHO

No, it is not another remake of the Hitchcock film, this time Universal has bought the rights to the DC graphic novel “The Psycho” with Jeffrey Nachmanoff set to draft the script. The comic is an action-thriller about a government agent who uncovers a technology being used to genetically turn people into super-humans.

Wondering who Nachmanoff is? Well he helped Roland Emmerich pen the script for the disaster flick The Day After Tomorrow and when asked his thoughts on drafting “The Psycho” he told Variety, “It is a contemporary but altered reality like The Matrix, but what I most liked is the moral quandary of the protagonist, who ends up having to become what he despises when he takes this drug.”
