The Playlist has posted a rumor that both Maggie Cheung and Samuel L. Jackson have joined the cast of Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds.
The site says that Cheung will be playing Madame Mimieux, the French matron of the Cinematheque that takes in the protagonist Shosanna (Melanie Laurent) when she is homeless and being sought by the Nazis. According to the site, Jackson will be the narrator of the film who is present in only a few spots.
The film is targeted to hit theaters in 2009.
