Variety reports that Paramount Pictures is readying a film adaptation of the once popular television show “The Love Boat”.
The project had been on hold for nearly six years at Paramount until producer David Permut began revamping production.
“The Love Boat” is “unique among series in that it has worldwide recognition, having been broadcast in over 70 countries,” Permut said. “We have a unique and irreverent take that will turn this innocent show on its head.”
