Christian Duguay, the director of the Wesley Snipes action flick The Art of War, has signed on to direct The Runelords for Franchise Pictures Story Island Entertainment, Origin Entertainment and Entertainment Business Group according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The first film of the planned trilogy is expected to begin principal photography in June 2005 in Prague and is described as an epic adventure set in the medieval world of Rofehaven based on the first novel in David Farland’s series.
