My god, will the rumors never end? Early this week it was “made official” that director McG was off the Warner Bros. Superman project and for several reasons that I am not even sure if I am allowed to announce, but it just seems that the best way to describe them would be creative differences.
Now it seems that the reason for his departure may also include the fact that WB may be able to get the director they originally desired for the film, explosives artist, Michael Bay.
Of course, of course, this could all be just more fuel to the rumor fire, but in a news post on Michael Bay’s official site titled “Superman…” once you click on it you get the chrome Superman logo we posted above.
Looks like this may be the direction the film is taking and I am sure that we can expect official word sometime soon, especially if Bay is flirting with the idea on his own site.
