Whether you consider it late in the game or not for casting the “final” installment in the Star Wars saga Gary Oldman is apparently in negotiations to lend his voice to Star Wars: Episode III according to his agents at the Douglas Management Group.
The news comes directly from their website where it states, “negotiations are underway for Gary Oldman to perform a character voice in the upcoming Star Wars film.
“Currently, having returned home for a short rest after spending a week in London where he gave hundreds of interviews and attended the Potter premiere, Mr. Oldman continues work on Batman on location in London and Chicago, while Harry Potter continues to be a blockbuster.”
