The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) has announced the timetable leading up to next year’s Golden Globe Awards, which will be telecast Sunday, January 16, 2005 from 8-11 PM (EST) live on NBC.
Studios and Networks will be paying close attention to the following dates:
October 21, 2004 – Final screening date for Television entries
October 22, 2004 – Final date for press conferences for Television entries
November 5, 2004 – Deadline for submission of Golden Globe entry forms
November 18, 2004 – 9 a.m. Cecil B. DeMille/Miss Golden Globe Announcement
December 3, 2004 – Nomination ballots mailed by Ernst & Young to all HFPA members
December 8, 2004 – Final screening date for Motion Pictures
December 9, 2004 – Final date for Motion Picture press conferences
December 13, 2004 – Deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of nomination ballots
December 16, 2004 – 5:30 a.m. Nomination announcement of the 62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards
December 17, 2004 – Deadline for receipt of media credential applications
December 28, 2004 – Final ballots mailed by Ernst & Young to all HFPA members
January 4, 2005 – Deadline for receipt of publicist credential applications
January 12, 2005 – Deadline for receipt by Ernst & Young of final ballots
January 16, 2005 – Presentation of the 62nd Annual Golden Globe
Sunday Awards. Live telecast on NBC Television at 8 p.m. EST
The 62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards will take place Sunday, January 16, 2005 with a live telecast airing on NBC at 8 pm (EST) and produced by dick clark productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
