The late comer to the preview image barrage for this year’s summer releases is 20th Century Fox as they have passed on a wealth of images for their upcoming flicks including The Day After Tomorrow, I, Robot, Alien vs. Predator, Dodgeball and Garfield.

The Day After Tomorrow: In “Independence Day” Roland Emmerich brought you the near destruction of the earth by aliens. Now, in “The Day After Tomorrow” the enemy is an even more devastating force: nature itself. Tornadoes rip Los Angeles; a massive snowstorm pounds New Delhi; hail the size of grapefruit batters Tokyo; and in New York City, the temperature swings from sweltering to freezing in one day. In this special-effects packed, highly anticipated event motion picture, an abrupt climate change has cataclysmic consequences for the entire planet.
Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story: A small local gym is threatened with extinction by a gleaming sports and fitness palace unless a group of social rejects can rise to victory in the ultimate dodge ball competition.
I, Robot: Will Smith stars in this action thriller inspired by the classic short story collection by Isaac Asimov, and brought to the big screen by dynamic and visionary director Alex Proyas (“Dark City,” “The Crow”). In the year 2035, robots are an everyday household item, and everyone trusts them, except one, slightly paranoid detective (Smith) investigating what he alone believes is a crime perpetrated by a robot. The case leads him to discover a far more frightening threat to the human race. “I, Robot” uses a spectacular, state-of-the-art visual effects technique to bring a world of robots to life.
Alien vs. Predator: Set in early 21st century Earth, Charles Weyland, an industrialist billionaire, leads an archaeological expedition to Antarctica. Using thermal imaging satellites, Weyland believes to have discovered the ruins of an ancient pyramid temple buried under the ice, predating even the Egyptian and Aztec pyramids.
Once inside, the team finds the remains of Humans with holes in their ribcages, along with the remains of Facehuggers — meaning that the possibility of the temple being uninhabited is very unlikely. To make matters worse, five teenage Predators are coming to the temple to perform a coming-of-age ritual that involves fighting to the death with the Aliens.
Soon, it becomes clear that only one species is getting out alive.
Garfield: In his film debut, Garfield’s owner, Jon, takes in sweet but dimwitted pooch Odie, turning Garfield’s perfect world upside down. Now, Garfield wants only one thing: Odie out of his home and life! But when the hapless pup disappears and is kidnapped by a nasty dog trainer, Garfield, maybe for the first time in his life, feels responsible. Pulling himself away from the TV, Garfield springs into action.
