Late in March Lions Gate Films unleashed the Godsend Institute website in conjunction with their Late in March Lions Gate Films unleashed the Godsend Institute website in conjunction with their upcoming psycho thriller Godsend starring Robert DeNiro, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos and Greg Kinnear and now that site is under attack by a small group of petitioners.
The site, which can be seen by clicking here, is a teaser site similar to the Lacuna Inc. website that was used in the promotion for Focus Feature’s Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
A petition has been started at Petition Spot in an attempt to try and get enough signatures to shut the site down as indecent.
The petition is trying to get 1,000 signatures and currently has only 27, but we put together a few of the quotes put up by some of the petitioners in opposition to the site, but many of them are telling those signing just how silly this all is. You can click here to check them all out, and here is a link to an all out article attacking the site.
Someone Against the Site
NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!
IT IS NOT A FAKE:
SEE THIS WEBSITE FOR THE TRUTH ABOUT CLONING:
BECAUSE OF THE PETITION HERE AGAINST GODSEND, THE EVIL SCIENTISTS AT THIS NEW INSTITUTE WERE FORCED TO PRETEND IT WAS ONLY A FAKE SITE AND THEN QUICKLY MADE A MOVIE TO HIDE THE TRUE FACT THAT THEY ARE CLONING!!!!! WE MUST DO SOMETHING – PLEASE SIGN THE OTHER PETITION – WE NEED AT LEAST A MILLION SIGNATURES!!!
Others Clearly for the Site and Against Petitioners
anyone who fell for this is an idiot.
stop whining… it’s a joke
The Final Word
First you guys start a petition because you think they are cloning babies, and now you are up in arms because they are not really cloning babies.
Are you guys stupid, or what? Get a life! Nobody pays attention to e-petitions anyway
