The Art Directors Guild (ADG) last night announced winners of its Excellence in 2003 Production Design and Art Direction Awards in six categories of film and television during black-tie ceremonies from the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. Fred Willard, star of “The Mighty Wind” and “Best of Show,” served as host.

Honorary awards were presented to Production Designer Roy Christopher for Lifetime Achievement and to Director-Animator John Lasseter for Outstanding Contributions to Cinematic Imagery.
Presenters included Director-Producer Gilbert Cates, Elisa Donovan (“Clueless”), Bonnie Hunt (“Life With Bonnie”), Sharon Lawrence (“NYPD Blue”), Michael McKean (“Mighty Wind,” “Best in Show”), Annette O’Toole (“Smallville”), Judge Reinhold (“Beverly Hills Cop” I, II & III), Fred Willard (“Mighty Wind,” “Best in Show”) and Debra Wilson (MadTV).
President of the Art Directors Guild is Thomas A. Walsh. ADG Awards chairs are James Bissell and Norman Newberry.
