It has been discovered on the Internet a new website that has launched describing a company familiar to The Matrix. The company name is Metacortex and the website can be found at metacortechs.com.
You may recognize this name from the original installment of The Matrix as the company Thomas Anderson worked for just before he was “unplugged.” The site seems normal on the outside but if you venture a little deeper, especially by clicking onto the directory link on the bottom of the home page you will see where you have the chance to do a little searching of the “company” database.
Click on Redland, Washington as it is the only link that currently works. Now go ahead and try the name AndersonThomas, Neo’s Matrix name. You are given the following message:

Now try AveryJames, you are greeted with a flickering image and a bunch of meaningless binary code. What does it all mean? Well, it is going to take a lot of convincing for me to believe this is a real company considering it says it is the largest software company and I have never heard of it.
Who knows, I am sure The Matrix can’t end with Revolutions, there is still more money to be made.
