
The Walking Dead: Season Five leads the Blu-ray and DVD charge, hitting shelves Tuesday, August 25

Although it failed to ignite the box office, Cameron Crowe’s Aloha is looking for a home video audience this week, joining fellow recent big screen releases Big Game (starring Samuel L. Jackson) and the Academy Award-winning documentary, Citizenfour.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment delivers family-friendly fare exclusively to home video with this week’s LEGO DC Super Heroes: Justice League: Attack of the Legion of Doom!, the latest in the studio’s ongoing series of LEGO-branded adventures.
One of the many great performances from the late actor and comedian, Robin Williams stars in George Roy Hill’s 1982 adaptation of John Irving’s The World According to Garp, debuting on HD for the very first time this week thanks to Warner Archive.
The anime classic Vampire Hunter D gets its first-ever HD release in a new 30th Anniversary Edition while Scream Factory this week delivers another double feature, pairing both 1990 cult flicks.
Criterion this week adds Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne’s recent Academy Award Palm d’Or nominee Two Days, One Night, starring Marion Cotillard, to the collection.
The Walking Dead: Season Five, arriving on both Blu-ray and DVD, headlines new fare from the small screen, but quite a few other television series arrive on DVD only August 25. Among them are Elementary: Season Three, The Good Wife: Season Six, Revenge: Season Four, The Mindy Project: Season Three and Portlandia: Season Five.
Titles debuting to stream August 25 include Age of Adaline, Barbie: Rock ‘N Royals, Digging for Fire, Entourage, Furious 7, Love & Mercy and Sequoia.
