The raunchy comedy will follow two brothers who place an online ad to find dates for a wedding only to have the ad go viral. Fox is still actively searching for an actor to play the other brother opposite Efron.
TV director Jake Szymanski, best known for his work on “SNL” and Funny or Die, has been tapped to helm the comedy from a script by Andrew J. Cohen and Brendan O’Brien. Peter Chernin, David Ready, Jenno Topping and Jonathan Levine will produce.
Later this year, Efron is set to star opposite Robert De Niro in another comedy titled Dirty Grandpa at Lionsgate, as well as the drama We Are Your Friends with Emily Ratajkowski.
